Freshwind Shipping USA LLC was established in April 2010 as a subsidiary of K & D Consulting in New York.
K & D Consulting has been owned and operated since 2004 by Chris Plocienniczak. The firm provides chartering services to business groups around the world, with locations including the Sea of Okhotsk, the Bering Sea, the Southeast Pacific, Peru, the Southwest Atlantic, and West Africa.
K & D Consulting is also active in ship trading, sales and scrapping in markets worldwide.
With over three decades of maritime industry experience, Mr. Plocienniczak brings a business philosophy to Freshwind that melds the imagination and zeal of a start-up with the wisdom and discipline of a veteran shipping merchant.
